FUN EASTER EGG GRAB!It's on again! The Canberra Miniature Railway is holding its Easter eggstravaganza over two nights on Saturday 19-APR-25 and Sunday 20-APR-25!
Rides run between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, which is to say they start in daylight and end in the dark under lights. If you can stay until dusk you'll be treated to a huge animated light show where our tracks and trains are lit up by thousands of computer controlled coloured lights.
But the big hit is the two Easter egg "grabs" each day: 5:30pm for children aged under 6, and 6:30pm for children aged 6 and over. There are 2,500 Easter eggs up for grabs on each of the two nights. It's a great fun event not to be missed!
NOTE: Every person entering the site must have a ticket (but children aged under 3 are free). Tickets include entry, unlimited rides, the light shows, and for children the Easter egg grabs. Rides are for everyone but the egg grabs are for CHILDREN ONLY!

For safety reasons, children shorter than our measuring sticks (about 1.4 m) must ride trains with an adult. ENCLOSED FOOTWEAR IS REQUIRED for everyone (no thongs, sandals, etc).
Our canteen will be open for yummy hot and cold food and drinks so you can enjoy a meal while watching the trains. We've gone cashless so if you'd like to make a purchase, bring your card/device.
