HUE & CRY are a Scottish pop duo formed in 1983 by brothers Pat and Greg Kane. Known for their soulful vocals, jazz-influenced pop, and politically aware lyrics, they rose to fame in the late 1980s with hits like "Labour of Love" and "Looking for Linda."
Combining elements of blue-eyed soul, jazz and synth-pop – distinguished by Pat's emotive vocal style and Greg's skilful arrangements – the duo's socially conscious themes and sophisticated compositions gained them a loyal following.
Continuing to release music and tour over the decades, evolving their sound while staying true to their soulful roots, they now present a stripped-back and eclectic programme of their classic hits, new material and contemporary repertoire… all in their own distinctive style.
