Hudson River Line (HRL) is dedicated to performing the music of Billy Joel, one of this generation’s greatest songwriters and performers. The band includes veteran musicians who not only play Billy's music but replicate the energy and emotion of seeing him live in concert. It's a little bit of Madison Square Garden brought to your hometown.
HRL’s set list spans Billy’s entire catalog--from Cold Spring Harbor and Piano Man to Nylon Curtain and Storm Front--and includes deep cuts, classic tracks, and big hits. Casual and hardcore fans, alike, will have a great time and will hear music that they know and love. The band’s name comes from the lyrics of one of Billy Joel’s most enduring tunes, New York State of Mind, where he croons “I’m just taking a Greyhound, on the Hudson River Line…”

THE MINOR FALL
Meet The Minor Fall, the fun-loving band making crowds happy all over the DMV! We’re all about mixing alternative vibes with a splash of country, and we’re having a blast doing it. From Crooked Crab Brewing Company, Idiom Brewing, PALM Baltimore, Crystal City Sports Pub in Arlington, 108 Bar and Grill, and beyond, we’ve got the local scene buzzing with the tunes you know, forgot you knew, or just plain love to listen to and hear when you're out.
Leading the charge is Kate, our powerhouse singer and songwriter who grew up on country tunes and gospel singing and brings that heart and soul to every performance. On guitar, we’ve got Dan, a musical wizard who seems to know every song ever written and who can pull out a solo that makes you want to cry it's so good (which is why we call him Dan Halen). And then there's John, our pun-loving drummer who can walk up to a kit and immediately start jammin' to any track you can think of. Finally, we’ve got Brian, the multi-talented bassist, guitarist, and vocalist who knows all the classics and keeps our sound tight.
With 11 original songs already in our pocket and more on the way, we're excited to bring all the best covers with some new music mixed and we're having a blast doing it. So come hang out with us at our next gig, and let’s make some memories together!
