April 20 (Saturday)
We start at 07:20 AM at Grand Central Terminal.
This time we are going to visit beautiful Hudson Highlands state park, enjoy its wonderful scenery with waterfalls and look for Bannerman castle.
Total distance is about 16 miles. We will pass through red, blue, white, yellow, and green trails.
Please expect 50 to 75 degrees outside. We suggest getting train tickets in advance.
Beacon is a well-known place around the foodies so we might join some pizzeria or a bar after the hike.
Detailed plan:
07:20 AM - Meeting at center of Grand Central Terminal (look for a round information kiosk).
07:50 AM - Departure from Grand Central to Beacon.
09:26 AM - Arriving at Beacon station.
09:45 AM - Meeting rest of the group at MTA Police District 7 Beacon (7-11 Beekman St, Beacon).
10:00 AM - Entering the park.
01:45 PM - Lunch at the park.
03:50 PM - Looking for Bannerman castle.
05:45 PM - Diner at the Beacon.
07:00 PM - Taking the train back to Grand Central from Beacon station.

P.S.
We highly suggest you buy all tickets in advance.
Regular sneakers or plimsolls is enough for this hike.
Please bring the food and enough water for a half day as we will not stop for food during the hike.
Some of us might drive so don't hesitate to ask the group for the pick up.
