This year sees Hucknall market celebrating its 150th year of trading since it first took place on April 23, 1875.
To celebrate this, a special event market will be taking place on Saturday 26th April in the town and will include a super-sized market with music, period attractions, activities and local historical information.
There will be live music and fun activities for the kids from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the High Street stalls staying open from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
The event will operate alongside the regular Saturday market hosted by Ashfield district council markets.
The Royal British Legion Women’s Section Hucknall branch will be having a charity stall on Hucknall market this day to fundraise for the benevolent fund for families of the Armed Forces.
We will have a hamper, teddy bingo, guess the name of the teddy bear, and plenty more so come along and support us please.
