About the art troupe
Established in 2006, the Hubei University Loong and Lion Dance Art Troupe is a distinguished cultural troupe dedicated to showcasing the vibrant tradition of Chinese dragon and lion dances. Since its founding, the troupe has toured globally, with performances in countries such as the United States, Australia, Finland, Poland and Brazil.
Known for their exceptional skill and artistry, the troupe has won an impressive five gold, five silver, and seven bronze medals in national dragon dance tournaments. In addition, the troupe has claimed the title of world champion three times in international dragon dance competitions, earning recognition for promoting Chinese cultural heritage on a global stage.
