The Pomps are a Boston based foursome with a unique blend of 2-Tone, Power Pop, Indie, Reggae, and Ska influences. The band consists of members of Boston bands such as Big D and Kids Table, Have Nots, The Sterns, Stray Bullets, and Westbound Train. The Pomps are celebrating the release of their third full length "Partial Eclipse of the Pomps". Bad Time Records describes "Partial Eclipse of.." as "An extremely dad-coded account of family life in a horrific golden age of real estate speculation, fake money and climate catastrophe. “Partial Eclipse” draws from “Bottom Of’s” recipe book: 2 tone Ska, Post Punk and New Wave. But, the resulting meal doesn’t elicit the Pavlovian response of “80’s!” that accompanied its predecessor. More Organ. Less Synth. More Crunch. Less Delay. Plenty of Crooning…and…guitar solos, so many guitar solos." https://www.badtimerecords.com/collections/the-pomps
