Much of the session will focus on performance, creativity, character, and the other real secrets of being a magician or mentalist. As is always the case for me, this will not be the traditional “Here’s a trick; here’s how it works; and here’s how much it costs” type of lecture. That said, several effects, routines, and performance pieces (the differences between those three will be explored) will be presented, taught, and used to illustrate points beyond their mere methods.I am currently performing a run of my autobiographic monologue, ‘A Fine Li(n)e’, at Liberty Magic. We will be discussing some of the more essential aspects of the show, and how those points can apply to standard performances of Theatrical Deception.
In regard to my run of shows, I am donating my entire performance fee for all twelve shows to Children’s Hospital. That said, this special lecture will be free of charge…but if anyone wishes to donate a few dollars to Children’s, such generosity will be greatly appreciated, and we will provide an effortless way to secure those transactions.

As for what the name of the lecture means: That will be revealed, in person, on the evening of the 19th. I hope to see you there.
