HTML Web Page Design and Reading Summer Camp For Middle and High School ScholarsWeek of June 19th - 23rd, 20239:00 am to 4:00 pmCAMP DESCRIPTION: At the end of this five days Hands-On HTML Web Page Design Summer Camp, students will be able to apply a variety of HTML tags and attributes by creating and designing a variety of webpages such as an autobiography webpage. Students will be introduced to basic web page design terms and concepts. HTML tags include basic HTML tags, font color, headings, adding hyperlinks to a webpage, inserting pictures, adding bullets and numbering, and inserting tables and forms.This reading camp will get students to read in fun and unique ways. Our core belief is that literacy is a basic right for everyone. We are committed to educating individuals and raising awareness about the challenges of illiteracy. Campers will be challenged to read as many books as possible before the start of the next school year. Readers will be given incentives or awards for reading achievements. Items such as stickers, bookmarks, popcorn party or bubble gum day. Campers will journal daily, participate in group and individual reading, write short stories and poetry, share during book reviews, partake in reading scavenger hunts and demonstrate their creativity with open mic.
