About this Event
We are delighted to invite Penny Pullen to deliver our seminar in April.
In this interactive session, we’ll explore some of the challenges facing people with invisible (but nevertheless limiting) illnesses as they try to be part of our churches, to be valued and belong. We’ll hear from Penny Pullan’s research into ‘The Ethics of Inclusion’ which focused on this underserved group. We’ll think theologically, using the Body of Christ metaphor of 1 Corinthians 12, and discuss ideas we can put in place to transform our churches.
Penny Pullan has just completed the Durham MA in Theology, Mission and Ministry. She also holds a scientific PhD and teaches Leadership at St Hild College, Sheffield alongside her work as a consultant, author and facilitator in the area of Leadership and creative collaboration. She’s married to Malcolm, who has lived with ME for 34 years, which led to her interest in the topic.
