Hey freshers!
We hope that you have had a great O-week and have begun the adjustment into uni life smoothly. We know that uni can be stressful at times and because of this, we are inviting you to come to our free fresher picnic! ?
Come to relax, make some new friends in your major, play some games or just come for the FREE FOOD AND DRINKS!! ??
You are also welcomed to sign up for a $5 membership to receive amazing discounts at your local restaurants and cafes, along with DISCOUNTED event tickets! ? If you have signed up for this year, don’t forget to grab your HSS TOTE BAG too ?
ALAS; this is more than just a picnic! Following our picnic will be our fresher elections!
If you’re a first year student studying a major listed and want to get involved in HSS, WE NEED YOUR HELP! ?
We’re looking for 5 FRESHER REPS to join the committee and assist us with welfare, social and educational events throughout the year.
You are able to apply if you study one of the following:
Aboriginal health and wellbeing
Anatomy and Human Biology
Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
Exercise and Health
Genetics
Humanities in Health and Medicine
Integrated Dental Sciences
Integrated Medical Sciences and Clinical Practice
Podiatric Health and Medical Sciences
Microbiology and Immunology
Neuroscience
Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
Pharmacology
Physiology
Public Health
If you’re interested, applying is easy! All you need to do is nominate yourself through the google form and come down to Prescott Court on the 15th of March for a short speech (after our picnic)!
The nomination form will be uploaded in this event, so be sure to hit ‘INTERESTED’ or ‘GOING’ for all updates!
