This course is specifically for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) covered by Comcare. Unions Tasmania is a well-respected and experienced provider of training for HSRs offering a comprehensive five-day course for new reps. Our training is approved by Comcare.
New HSRs are entitled to attend one five day training course upon election. You must request to attend training and it's important that you do in order to exercise a range of powers under the WHS Act.
HSRs are able to choose their training provider. We encourage union members and welcome all workers, whether union members or not, to our training. It's held in our Hobart office, or you can join online.
