HSD Advocacy Day at the Capitol

Come with us to Olympia for a full day of advocacy, history and community building! Meet with lawmakers, share your story and discuss the importance of community investments for Historic South Downtown communities. Training, transportation and lunch provided.

What to expect:

• Monday, March 3rd from 5-6:30pm, meet with our policy team for a training; learn how to lobby your legislators.
• The morning of, meet at Hing Hay Park for transportation/ carpooling to Olympia
• After arriving, meet at the Pitchard Library for a training recap and to meet with your advocacy group.
• Attend advocacy meetings
• Have lunch
• Take a group photo
• Debrief day with the group
• Travel back to Seattle
