HR Support and Leadership in Developing a Culture of Accountability

Program Description

When leaders and employees are accountable, this creates a culture of accountability, which becomes part of the organization's brand. In this session, review how HR can support creating a culture of accountability by developing accountability at the individual level, team level, and brand level. We discuss how to set employee expectations, create incentives, and align the practice of accountability with the values of the organization.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify Key Components of Accountability – Participants will be able to define accountability at the individual, team, and organizational levels and explain how these components contribute to building a culture of accountability.
• Align Accountability with Organizational Values - Participants will learn to align accountability practices with the organization's core values to strengthen its brand and foster a culture of responsibility.
• HR's Role in Fostering Accountability - Participants will understand HR’s role in supporting leadership to cultivate a culture of accountability through policies, training, and leadership development.
• Evaluate Accountability Practices - Participants will be able to assess and evaluate current accountability practices within an organization and propose improvements to enhance performance and alignment with organizational goals.
