The leaves in Busan are turning brown, the air is beginning to get properly chilly, and that means it's time to break out everyone's favorite game of harvest and island-domination, The Settlers of Catan. This will be HQ Bar's ninth Catan tournament! There will be a 5000 Won Entry Fee, and 100 percent of this money will go to the Namgwang Orphanage.
First and second place prizes will be based on the number of players:
8 Players - 20,000/10,000 In Bar Credit
12 Players - 30,000/15,000 in Bar Credit
16 Players - 40,000/20,000 in Bar Credit
20 Players - 50,000/25,000 in Bar Credit
24 Players - 60,000/30,000 in Bar Credit
Plus besides the bar credit, the first place finisher will have the knowledge that they are the best barterer/manipulator in the bar. Sign-Up is at 3:30--or if you can't make it to the bar in time, send us a PM on Facebook or Instagram--and we'll start playing games at 4:00 sharp.
And even if you don't want to play Catan (or you do play but you lose pretty quickly), we've got a big selection of other games as well. Now that it's too cold to get out on the beach, Sundays are great for some day-time gaming (and drinking... and eating... etcetera etcetera!)
