Themes for the day

1. How do we as people professionals create the conditions in which people thrive in the wake of a period of trauma, disruption and the potential erosion of the psychological contract?

2. How do we as people professionals deliver the scale of change to transform the future of work and healthcare delivery?

3. How do we develop our sense of purpose, values and professional standards/achievements to deliver the future of healthcare


Speakers include:

• Michael West CBE is a Senior Fellow at The King's Fund, Professor of Work and Organisational Psychology at Lancaster University, Visiting Professor at University College, Dublin, and Emeritus Professor at Aston University

• Mark Britnell, Vice Chair of KPMG and author of ‘solving the global workforce crisis in healthcare’

• Louise Mayhew, People Performance Deputy Director, Department for Work and Pensions

• Collette Black, Assistant Chief Executive Officer - People, Values and Culture at Essex County Fire and Rescue Service

• Tom Simons, Chief HR & OD Officer at NHS England & NHS Improvement

• Terry Roberts, Chief People Officer, Oxford University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

• Raffaela Goodby, Chief People Officer, Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust

The conference is a fantastic opportunity to energise, inspire, develop, network and learn from colleagues. Bookings are open to all HPMA London Academy members, all HR and OD colleagues are welcome to come along and tickets are free although there is the usual cancellation fee..
