Runoyhteisö Helsinki Poetry Connection tarjoaa jälleen runonnälkäisille sielunravintoa kahden kesäisen ulkoilmatapahtuman muodossa! Tänä vuonna 11. kertaa järjestettävä HPC Goes Puisto eli ulkoilma-open mic tarjoaa yhteisiä sanataiteellisia ja esityksellisiä elämyksiä, molempina kertoina klassisten helsinkiläisten amfiteattereiden äärellä.
Goes Puiston esimmäinen etappi järjestetään perjantaina 23.7. Alppipuistossa. Alkaen klo 19 sekä mikrofonin että runopäiden sielut lämmittelevät mureiksi kaksi musikaalista lavarunoilijaa: "Anne ja Kone", eli runoilija viuluineen ??? sekä Amerikan ihme, Beat-taituri Robin DeWan, joka tuo paikalle mystisen australialaisen soittimensa, didjeridoon ???
Lämmittelijöiden jälkeen vuoro on teidän -- eli esimerkiksi juuri sinun! Klubin varsinainen osuus eli open mic kutsuu yleisön jäsenet esiintymään livenä muille n. 5 minuutin ajaksi. Ilmoittaudu järjestäjille paikan päällä jos mielesi tekee avomikittää! Omaa tuotantoa pyydetään, ja esitykset voivat edustaa vaikka mitä taiteenlajia, ml. performanssia, tanssia, laulua, spoken wordia tai vaikka räppiä. Kaikki kielet ja lajit ovat sallittuja! ??? Myös omia taustoja on mahdollista soittaa HPC:n akkukäyttöisestä vahvistimesta.
Kuten kaikissa HPC:n tapahtumissa, on Goes Puistossa oletusarvoista, että jokainen tapahtumaan osallistuja kunnioittaa kaikkia esiintyjiä, yleisön jäseniä sekä yhteistä luontoympäristöä. Itseohjaudumme luomaan ja kokemaan yhteistä, monipuolista kokemusten kirjoa, ja toteutamme armollisessa yhteistyössä keskenämme turvallisen tilan, väkivallattomuuden ja antirasismin periaatteita ??? Illan juontaja yhdessä muiden hpcläisten kanssa myös valvovat tapahtuman viihtyvyyttä ja turvallisuutta. Puistoon on useita esteettömiä sisääntuloväyliä. Tulethan tapahtumaan vain terveenä; mikrofonin hygieniasta huolehtivat järjestäjät.
Vuoden 2021 ulkorunokimarat juontaa tuttuun tapaan klubin perustaja, puistomaestro Kasper Salonen.

The Helsinki Poetry Connection is happy to announce yet another pair of summertime poetry get-togethers, for the eleventh year in a row! The HPC Goes Puisto open mic club is chock full of wild and wonderful words to soothe the soul, and performances of all kinds to excite our heart of hearts.
This year both urban park locations will feature an open-air amphitheater! The first event will be held at Alppipuisto on Friday, 23 July. Starting at 7 pm, the night will be kicked off by two highly musical spoken word acts: veteran open micer Anne ja Kone on the violin ??? and Beat wonderchild Robin DeWan on -- yes -- the didgeridoo ???
After these warm-up sets it is your turn -- yes, yours! The main event of any Goes Puisto is the open mic portion, where members of the audience have the chance to perform their own work live into a microphone, for approx. 5 minutes each. Sign up by approaching the organizers on the day! Original material please, which may include any form of performance or expression, including (but not at all limited to) poetry, singing, or rap in any language you like ??? You may also jack in your own device, should you want to play backing tracks.
As with all of the Helsinki Poetry Connection's events, at Goes Puisto each attendee is expected to respect all performers, members of the audience, and our shared natural surroundings. We are coming together to share and experience many forms of expression, and we are each responsible for maintaining a safe, peaceful, and open atmosphere ??? The MC, along with other HPC members, will also keep an eye on the proceedings. There are several easily accessible entrances to the Alppipuisto park area. Please only attend if you are not sick; the mic will be regularly disinfected
The blazing cool Goes Puisto open mics are hosted, as always, by park poetry mystic Kasper Salonen.
