Howl-o - ween Doggy Costume Contest

🐾🎃 Get ready for a spook-tacular night at the Elm City Dog Project’s Annual Howl-o-ween Doggy Costume Contest! Join us on Sunday, October 26th from 5–7 PM at Stella Blues, where pups of all shapes and sizes will strut their stuff in their creepiest, cutest, and most creative costumes.

Our panel of judges will crown the best-dressed pup, with the winner taking home one of the Friendly Neighborhood Dog Walker’s legendary prize baskets — packed with fang-tastic treats and howl-worthy toys that’ll make your pup’s night a real scream. 🐶👻

👉 Ground Rules:

• All dogs must be on leash (no retractables, no exceptions).
• No off-leash dogs.
• Aggressive or reactive dogs will kindly be asked to leave — let’s keep the scares to the costumes, not the pups. 🕷️

These events are all about celebrating the bond between dogs and their people — giving dog parents a chance to make lasting memories with their pups, while also helping dogs still waiting in shelters find the loving families they deserve.

This event is frightfully fun but also meaningful: proceeds help support local rescues, shelters, and the mission of the Elm City Dog Project — giving dogs in need a second chance at a forever home.
