Hi, everyone! For our October meeting, we thought a "witchy" novel would be appropriate as we prepare for Halloween, so we'll be discussing The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, by Sangu Mandanna. We will be meeting in the "CEN Studio" Room, on the second floor of the Central Library. (This is not an official HCLS event.) Feel free to bring snacks to share, as well as any suggestions for our December (or January) book selection! (We typically choose books two months in advance, to give people plenty of time to read. In October, we'll discuss whether there's a December date that works for people, or whether we should just skip the busy holiday season and meet again in January. But either way, we'll choose the book at this meeting!)Be sure to RSVP so that you're kept in the loop with any updates!
