About this Event
Join us for inspiration and guidance as participants are shown techniques and styles of art expression while being trained in synergy, collaboration, prioritizing, and starting with the end in mind which are some of the 7 habits are highly effective teens. Sign up for all four weeks or pick just the ones that speak to you.
June 30- Collaborative Drawing: All the participant will receive a piece of a larger group drawing to personalize as we discuss skills needed to work in a collaboration. The event will end with the participants bringing their personalized pieces back together to see the collaborative drawing.
July 7- Mixed Media: With this project the participants will be asked to identify the 5 major priorities in their lives and create them using mixed media elements. Then they will complete their project by filling in between the 5 major priorities with other things they values as we discuss putting first things first as our habit for the effective teens.
July 21- Sculpturing: Participants will begin with the end in mind when the bring a picture of what they are interested in sculpting as we discuss setting goals and working towards achieving those goals one step at a time.
August 4-Photography: As our final inspirational event participants will explore and be challenged to look at photo composition and play with how a simple change in perspective can create a new experience.
