About
DKTech4Ukraine, Association of Ukrainians in Denmark and Kay Xander Mellish are excited to invite you to our event ‘How to Work in Denmark - Launch of Ukrainian Translation: Tips on Finding a Job, Succeeding at Work, and Understanding Your Danish Boss’.
Kay Xander Mellish will share her thoughts on Danish working culture and why it can be challenging for internationals from any culture. There are plenty of unwritten rules and unspoken expectations in Denmark, which are as difficult for Ukrainians to decode as for anyone else. A team of eight volunteer translators assisted Kay in translating the book into Ukrainian to help Ukrainians in Denmark.
Afterwards you are invited for a cosy fireside chat with 5 Ukrainian professionals, who arrived to Denmark after the war and successfully managed to continue their careers. Hear success stories from Banking, IT, Consulting, and Agro sector, personal advice and useful employment tips.
The event will continue with the practical workshop ‘What's your greatest challenge when job hunting and/or working in Denmark?’ with every guest involved followed by a networking reception with Ukrainian food and wine.
