It is our sincere hope to see all women free from abuse and violence, and SM-LAC endeavors to take a stand against domestic violence and support healing for the women in our community.In honor of our beloved SM-LAC Soror, the late Viola "Vi" Mason, we will be hosting a domestic violence discussion and candlelight vigil on Saturday, October 5 from 9 am - 12 pm at 1028 Events (1028 Second St., Stone Mountain, GA 30083). The speakers will share resources for women experiencing domestic violence as well as education about how to recognize it and what to do to end it. Teens and young adults are encouraged to attend.
