About this Event
A brief introduction to entrepreneurship and the creation and development of new business ventures. Includes a high level overview of the critical success factors for entrepreneurs, including business structures, the development of the business plan, and permits and licensing procedures inSiskiyou, Shasta, and Trinity Counties in Northern CA.
By the end of this course you will be able to:
- Evaluate how well suited you are to launch and run your own business.
- Understand the steps you will need to take to asses your business idea.
- Make some informed decisions about the legal structure of your business.
- And understand the basic licenses & permits you will need to obtain.

Joe Rodola, SBDC Consultant
Joe Rodola comes to the SBDC with over 45 years experience in the Credit field. 25 years in lending, 13 years as Director of CCCS Redding, a debt consulting agency, 20 years teaching various financial classes, 10 year owner of his own service business (Joe Rodola's Debt Consulting) and 8 years helping small business startups and helping them gain access to capital for both SCED and the SBDC.
Bryan Rheem, SBDC Consultant
