About this Event
Don't you find it incredulous that we teach our children many other life skills while the topics of money and personal finance are left to fall between the cracks of home and school? And yet money management is an extremely important life skill that should it be approached right, would give children a solid understanding of money and help them make rewarding financial decisions later in life.
Financial literacy is not taught in most Kenyan schools so while we wait for the curriculum to be amended accordingly, our homesteads must be the primary place for imparting this core life skill. With the right resources, parents can bridge the gap and equip their children with the essential tools they will need to navigate the financial challenges they'll face as they transition into adulthood.
Join us as we explore the different strategies and resources that parents can use to prepare their children for a successful life beyond the classroom.
In the meantime, if you are looking for tools to help guide you as you teach your child practical money management skills at home you can find them here.
