This workshop is a two-part workshop. Part 1 will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Part two will be Saturday, September 27, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. This workshop is $30.00 and includes parts one and two in the price. All materials are provided, and preregistration is required. Space is open to 15 people. Harvesting and Pressing Flowers Part 1: Welcome to our Harvesting and Pressing Flowers Workshop! This hands-on experience is perfect for anyone interested in learning the art of flower pressing, whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills. In this workshop, you'll discover which flowers and plants are ideal for pressing and get practical experience using a flower press. With the supervision of staff, you will cut your flowers from our garden and press them in a take-home press.
Pressed Flowers and Framing Part 2: Welcome back to Part 2 of our Pressed Flower Workshop! In this class, Horticulturist Danika Lesniak will guide you in how to gently remove your plants from the flower press and creatively arrange them into frames that can be displayed in your home!
