About this Event
Open relationships have been around for a long time, but it’s only recently that we’ve begun talking about them and seeing them in the media. Your interest in piqued, or now you’re wondering if that could work for you. On the other hand, you and your partner are committed to each other, and how do you do open things up without damaging or even destroying the relationship?
At this workshop, I’ll teach relationship vocabulary and cover some of the challenges of opening a relationship and how to navigate them. We’ll talk about dating apps, safer sex agreements, time management, and new relationship energy. You will practice communicating feelings and needs and how to verbalize why you want an open relationship. You’ll also practice listening and reflecting back what’s on the other person’s mind. By the end, you’ll have more information and skills to help you determine if this is the right direction for you.
This workshop is intended for both couples and individuals. It will be taught using a combination of lecture and real-time practice, and there will opportunities throughout for questions.
Please note that this is NOT a meet-and-greet for people looking for potential partners.
This event will be held indoors. To reduce potential spread of the coronavirus, all attendees are required to be fully vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, please do not purchase tickets.
