The public is invited to this workshop to learn how the department works, how to get involved and how to comment on new development proposals. Staff will give a 30-minute presentation and will then be available to answer any questions.
Information to be discussed will include:
* Overview of the planning process and what the Planning Department does
* How to apply for a permit, such as a land subdivision or use permit and what to expect once you submit an application
* How to provide input on development proposals in the community
