🌑Outline🌑
1. Introduction
• Welcome participants and create a safe, supportive space.
• What is Shadow Work: uncovering, embracing, and integrating the hidden parts of ourselves.
• Why Shadow Work Matters: release old patterns, fears, and emotional blockages; gain clarity, empowerment, and authenticity.
2. Understanding the Ego
• The role of the ego in shaping identity and protecting us. And how the ego can mask shadow aspects like fear, shame, or suppressed desires, including what this can look like in real life.
• observing the ego: noticing automatic thoughts, emotional reactions, and recurring patterns.
• Understanding the ego allows us to work with it rather than fight it.
3. Guided Meditation – Shadow Exploration
• A quiet, guided meditation to help participants connect with hidden emotions or unresolved experiences. With gentle prompts to visualize releasing what no longer serves you.
4. Journaling Exercise – Reflection & Integration
• Participants will journal their insights from the meditation.
• Optional sharing in the circle for those comfortable.
• Practices for continuing shadow work at home with journaling.
