As we head toward 2025 millions will soon be making their New Year's resolutions. But studies show that 80% of people will give up on their goals by mid February and that less than 9% will stick with them for the year. In fact, even outside of New Year's resolutions, research has indicated that over 90% of people who set goals fail to achieve them. But why is that..? People setting goals are clearly looking to improve their lives and there will be few amongst us who aren't at least trying to, but with such a high failure rate, why do we bother.?
Well, in January's lecture we are not only going to look at why we bother and why we might fail, but we are going to look at the fact that some people do meet their goals....Yes 92% may fail to reach their goals, but that means 8% do reach them. What is it about these people, the goals they set and the way they approach them that makes this happen and what can we learn from this that we too can apply to our own lives.
More importantly, we will look at how building and achieving goals can help improve life so that as we enter 2025, we might join the minority and end up creating and living our own extraordinary lives
Come join us on 4th January as we explore this exciting and possibly life changing topic in much greater depth.
