Join us at the beautiful Pollinator Haven Garden in Lee County for an immersive and inspiring workshop designed to help you create a thriving haven for our essential pollinators! For just $25, you'll gain the knowledge and practical skills needed to transform your outdoor space into a buzzing, vibrant ecosystem.
This class goes beyond theory. You'll learn how to conduct a thorough site assessment for your own property, understanding key factors like sunlight, soil, and existing features. We'll then dive into the fascinating world of pollinators, introducing you to the diverse insects and birds that visit our gardens and the crucial role they play in our environment.
A portion of our time will be spent exploring the Pollinator Haven Garden itself. You'll see firsthand how various plants attract different pollinators, gaining inspiration for your own design. As an added bonus, you'll actively participate in the Great Southeast Pollinator Census, observing and counting insects, contributing valuable data to a statewide citizen science project!
