About this Event
You just picked up a beautiful steak for dinner; now how are you going to prepare it? Our friend Dave, from Anavery Fine Foods in Traverse City, will walk you through the best way to cook a steak so the results are juicy and satisfying. What cuts of meat are preferable? What are the best heat sources for cooking steak? You’ll learn plenty of great tips and taste different steak cuts, along with a simple homemade steak sauce. Meat lovers, this class is for you!

Location: Classes are held in our Community Room and Kitchen at Oryana West. The Community Room is in the back of the store near the restrooms and Wellness Department.

About the instructor: Dave Waeltz is the farm manager at Anavery Fine Foods, which raises heritage breed animals. Dave is an expert in all things meat and steak cookery and loves to share his knowledge of how to properly prepare grass-fed meat.
