Heb je je ooit afgevraagd hoe een echte cantus in elkaar zit? Op 1 oktober krijg je de kans om alles te leren tijdens onze speciale How-To-Chemikantus! Dit evenement is speciaal voor jullie, de eerstejaars die nieuwsgierig zijn naar de tradities en gezelligheid van een cantus. We hebben ouderejaars klaarstaan om jullie alle ins en outs te leren, zodat je goed voorbereid bent voor de komende cantussen!
De bijeenkomst vindt plaats in het Musica lokaal op de eerste verdieping van het Quadrivium en start om 20:00. Breng gerust je Leuvens Liedboek mee als je er al een hebt; mocht je die nog niet hebben, dan kun je er ook een kopen tijdens het evenement. Dit is de ideale gelegenheid om meer te leren over de cantusrituelen, nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten en samen met de ouderejaars een gezellige avond te beleven.
We kijken ernaar uit om jullie een geweldige introductie in de cantuswereld te geven!

Hello first-year students!
Have you ever wondered how a real cantus works? On October 1st, you’ll have the chance to learn all about it at our special schachtenconvent! This event is designed for you, the first-years, curious about the traditions and fun of a cantus. Older students will be there to teach you everything you need to know, so you’ll be well-prepared for the upcoming cantuses!
The gathering will take place in the Musica room on the first floor of Quadrivium, starting at 20:00. Feel free to bring your Leuvens Liedboek if you already have one; if not, you can purchase one at the event. This is the perfect opportunity to learn about cantus rituals, meet new people, and enjoy a fun evening with the older students.
We’re looking forward to giving you an introduction to the world of cantussing!
