Training topic and time:
1:00pm- 4:00pm – How to build a Trauma Informed Culture at Your Law Enforcement Agency (Open to executive leadership of all law enforcement agencies)
Special Guest Speaker:
Captain Schentrup is a Bureau Commander for the Gainesville (FL) Police Department where he has worked for the last 23 years. Much of his career has been spent in major case investigative units to include sergeant over gang and burglary and division commander over investigations. Captain Schentrup is a national speaker and has nationally published articles about sexual assault response to include the initial officer and investigator response. He is also a member of the Florida Council Against Sexual Violence as a member of their statewide policy group.
TCOLE hours are available upon completion of event and with a submitted evaluation.
