✨ How to: Rave – Workshop ✨ (more info TBA)Do you want to create a rave but don’t know where to start? Do you want to contribute to Malmö’s underground scene and learn how to create a rave from scratch? Then this workshop is for you.
This will be an introductory workshop for what will be several occasions throughout spring 2025, where the final step of the workshop will be to create a rave together. The creators of this workshop will cover all costs of this project, including the final production (creating a rave together).
The workshop is led by people active in the scene who have done multiple raves and other creative work related to the underground scene.
Raves are a crucial part of Malmö’s culture and nightlife. This workshop is built on the idea of a more inclusive rave scene in Malmö, where everyone interested in creating raves will have acces to the knowledge and tools to do so. Together in this workshop we will build a team and work together against a common goal.
During these workshops, we will go through how to turn an idea into a rave and what you need to create a rave from start to finish. We will cover everything from ideas and concepts to sound systems, lights, costs, rules to keep track of, practical tips, etc. By the end of this project, you will be able to create your own rave and contribute to Malmö’s underground scene.

- History
- Conceptual thinking
- Practicalities around raves
- Current laws and rules related to throwing raves and how to navigate these

This workshop is free and open to everyone - however we are specifically looking for people without experience.
