Special Needs Residential Care Providers Needed
Join in person (Castle Rock Library, study room 134) or virtually 1:30-2:30PM!
Learn how you can make a difference in the lives of others by becoming a residential care provider.
CentrePoint Support Living, a Colorado Medicaid provider for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), is seeking caring individuals and families in Douglas County, Colorado, to provide residential housing and host homes for adults with autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome. Douglas County has identified a critical need for increased residential settings due to significant population growth. Must be 21 and have a clean background check in order to meet basic eligibility requirements.
We will discuss:
- Introduction to Residential Housing for Special Needs
- Centerpoint Support Living Services
- Advocacy, Provider Approved Service Agency (PASA) & Case Management Agencies (CMAs)
- Respite Care, Day Program & Job Training Services
- Funding and Host Home Provider Qualifications
- Quarterly Home Visits and Host Home Provider Responsibilities
- Collaboration and Individualized Support
- Understanding and Managing Behaviors
