How to Add Danger (aka game juice) @ Elevate Lowestoft
Want to know how to make your games feel punchy and fun? Learn how to improve game feel and implement hazards in Construct 3 in a free, hands-on workshop. You’ll explore screen shake, particle effects, squash and stretch and more.
This course is led by Jack Kean, a game designer who loves game jams!
You will:
- Extend your construct 3 knowledge with hands on techniques
- Learn how to create danger and excitement through game feel
- Add juice, hazards and polish
- Learn simple ways to make your games feel more engaging

This workshop is part of the Elevate:Lowestoft programme at The Fort in Lowestoft.
Attendance is free, but the tickets are limited. We will ask you to confirm your attendance ahead of the event, so we can move people up from the waitlist as necessary.
About Elevate:Lowestoft
Join in our free workshops and create games from Monday 16th February to Friday 20th February! In these hands-on workshops you will craft digital stories, eye-catching game art, essential game development skills, and connect with games industry professionals.
All participants will receive a full scholarship so you can join free of charge. Lunch will be provided and travel funding (reimbursement of up to £25 in total per participant) is available.
