About this Event

This information series will be an exploration into issues, topics and discussions which educate, inform and inspire collective and collaborative learnings across the South Australian community.

These topics will have direct implications for the veteran community but will focus more broadly on how those connections can be supported in the wider South Australian community and can prove useful in shared partnerships.

Through this conversation series Veterans SA will bring community leaders together to share knowledge and best practices to ensure the vitality and continuation of our shared community for generations to come.

This month Veterans SA Director, Catherine Walsh, will have an informative conversation with Sumen Rai, Director of the Defence Innovation Partnership.

Established in 2016, the Defence Innovation Partnership is a collaborative initiative of the South Australian Government, Defence Science and Technology Group, The University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, and Flinders University.

As a catalyst for defence-relevant research and development in South Australia, the agency fosters collaboration and engagement between researchers, industry and government.

Tune in online at 1pm on Tuesday 28th September to learn about how the Defence Innovation Partnership is supporting research for the defence and veteran community.
