About this Event
The ‘Learning Circle’ is an opportunity for community members to share the knowledge and expertise they have, and for the Circular Berlin community to engage with and chat to each other over a topic. Through this format, you can have a quick exchange with the experts and practitioners in our community. We offer our Learning Circle session monthly, which takes place Online on the first Thursday of each month for 1 hour at 5.30 pm.
The upcoming Learning Circle will be held on 4.07 by Sebastian Daus on the topic ‘How is AI increasing the repair efficiency and the lifespan of our products'.
In this Learning Circle Sebastian will focus on the topic of repair and artificial intelligence as a solution to tackle the climate crisis. Sebastian is an entrepreneur with the mission to accelerate circularity by creating a world where fixing products comes first. Having worked in the startup and tech world at various stations from Uber to Rocket Internet and consulting - he realized that he wanted to focus on creating impact by tackling the climate crisis and believes that solutions of scale are needed - with circularity being a very practical one. His company, FixFirst, helps repairers, manufacturers, retailers, insurances and even cities make repair and circularity easy by building the Operating System for Circular Services & Products: An Al-powered software solution that increases repair efficiency by up to 70%, provides a 10x better repair customer experience and gives each product at least one additional life. Plus, they're working on new industry standards that can help reshape their industry and will be building digital repair & circularity infrastructure for Europe for cities.
Join Sebastian to know more about how to end the throw-away world by making circular services such as repair easy, accessible, and attractive - for everyone.
To join this community session and support our work, we ask for a small donation of at least €3.50 from non-members of Circular Berlin.
