Join us this month for an exciting hands-on activity presented by the Oak Spring Garden Foundation in partnership with the Loudoun County Public Library- Middleburg! Kids (ages 6-11) and teens (ages 12-18) are invited to learn about the healing power of plants! Using plants and herbs from Oak Spring Garden, kids and teens will make skin protecting salve and cleansing fizzy powder bath bombs. Participants will also transplant and take home their own healing power plant! It's a fun and free way to learn new skills, get artsy, and connect with the natural world. Plants have the power to bring warmth and inspiration to our cold and dark January days.
Each month, OSGF hosts a different free, nature-inspired activity at local libraries, offering a unique opportunity for young minds to engage with the environment in fun, interactive ways. Don’t miss out on January's event, and be sure to follow us for each month's new theme!
Walk-ins welcome! Go to your library’s website for more info at the link provided.
