From classical to contemporary pieces, this evening will showcase the diverse and groundbreaking work of female composers across various languages and countries - including works by Canadian composers Colleen Athparia and Danika Lorèn. This event is a solo recital presented in partial fulfillment of Nora Jane Montana’s Bachelor’s Degree of Vocal Performance at the Glenn Gould School of Music. Nora Jane will be supported by her collaborative pianist David Eliakis, as well as instrumentalists Ann Murdocca (clarinet), Adella Li (piano), and Maria Jojatu (violin) for the Ontario premiere of a chamber song cycle.
