For type designers, the ability to showcase a typeface in the best possible light is essential. InDesign’s precision and robust controls for typography make for the trouble-free creation of visually engaging materials highlighting the unique features of a typeface.

In this presentation, typeface designer Delve Withrington will share how the application we know and love fits into his font development workflow — from producing various type specimens of works in progress to compositions for printed matter promoting the launch of a new typeface. Along the way, he will provide tips for evaluating and testing the features of a font to avoid surprises and delays when going to press.

Be sure to bring your burning questions about fonts and licensing for Delve to address.
