About this Event
The future is coming, we just don’t know which one it is yet.
In just five years, a pandemic, WFH, generative AI, climate events, and a host of other trends changed what we thought of work, shopping, entertainment, learning and residential space. It put Houston's adaptability to the test, and set the rate and diversity of change into overdrive.
Change will keep coming – but in what ways? The truth is no one knows. But people will still need places to work, live, play, and interact – and those places need to anticipate their needs. So how can professionals in the built environment industry anticipate changes, prepare their clients and stakeholders for them, and thrive no matter what happens?
The successors in this uncertain future will rely on wise support – and we aim to help you get wise in an intimate, inspiring workshop this October 2nd in Houston from 4-6 pm CST.
In just a few hours, you and a select group of industry leaders and influencers will explore:
- How strategic foresight can anticipate the possible futures of built environments so that you can develop appropriate responses
- How considering more uncertain, more distant futures can make for a more resilient, more visionary built environment
- How to apply strategic foresight to the specific challenges of leaders, creating a profitable and fun offering for client and stakeholder engagement
This participatory design and networking experience is complimentary, but capacity is limited and reservations are required.
