About this Event
Houston White Cane Safety Day was started by three dedicated advocates in 2007 and with incredible event partnerships has grown into one of the largest and longest running White Cane Safety Day celebrations in the nation. Houston White Cane Safety Day will be at University of Houston again this fall. This event starts with an awareness march led by the Spirit of Houston Cougar Band that leads into an exciting program with mayoral proclamation, guest speakers, music guests, and door prizes. Resources from the community will be available to share information with attendees. Lunch will be provided to those who register for the event.
