For their 47th Anniversary season, HSF presents 5 curated Shakespeare films in repertory! The HSF team will curate a selection of classic Shakespeare films, each one featuring a live pre-screening lecture by theatre historian and HSF executive Director Dr. Rob Shimko.
The lecture will begin at 7:40 at the raised picnic table area near the concession stand.
The Films Will Be:
Aug 3 - Henry V (1989) – PG-13 – 2 hours 17 minutes
Aug 4 - Throne of Blood (1957) – Not rated – 1 hour 50 minutes
Aug 5 - A Midsummer Night’s Dream (1935) – Approved – 2 hours 13 minutes
Aug 6 - Much Ado About Nothing (1993) – PG-13 – 1 hour 51 minutes
Aug 7 - Romeo + Juliet (1996) – PG-13 – 2 hours
