As we head into 2025, Best Friends Animal Society in Houston is adding additional educational components to our lifesaving work!Join us throughout the year for our program showcase! Each showcase will educate you on valuable skills to increase your life saving abilities and be the most informed pet advocate you can be.
You will hear from volunteers who were once new to animal welfare volunteerism but had a passion to help and are now active advocates in the mission to bring America's shelters to 90% save rate.
February’s Program Showcase focus is Animal Care/Medical. Come meet the Best Friends Animal Society medical team and medical volunteers to learn how you can become involved in this unique component of our life saving work here in Houston!
Learn the proper steps to care for animals on-site and be prepared to start assisting in daily evening animal care! We are really excited to offer this opportunity to our volunteers.
