September 30 Housing Workshop in Downtown East Lansing
The City of East Lansing will host an interactive workshop on Ann Street Plaza in downtown East Lansing (plus music and ice cream) to receive feedback about housing in the City, in general. We'll have a variety of fun and interactive exercises for participants. No registration is necessary for this workshop, just stop by.

Our next step with East Lansing's 2024 Comprehensive Plan Update is this Housing Clinic. We seek to establish a shared understanding of the opportunities and limitations in the current marketplace to address local and regional housing needs for low income, moderate income, and middle income households.
Join us at East Lansing's Hannah Community Center to learn all about the current state of the housing market, understand resources that are available to offset housing costs for seniors, students, and the local workforce, and how to best prioritize different housing types and price points.
This event will put us on a strong track towards the right housing mix in East Lansing. It will include technical details but is designed to be accessible to anyone wishing to better understand this important issue.
