About this Event
In November, 2023, BC's government passed Bills 44 and 47, pushing cities to build more missing middle and transit oriented housing. These were big moves, but are they enough to bring affordability?
Join panelists Jennifer Bradshaw of Abundant Housing Vancouver, Denis Agar from Movement, Housing Minister Ravi Kahlon on a panel moderated by Danny Oleksiuk.
We will be asking the big questions about housing and transit: how much housing is enough, how do we give hope to young people in this brutal housing market, and what the heck should we do about Dunbar?
We'll be meeting in the beautiful Djavid Mowafaghian World Arts Centre at SFU's Woodwards campus in Gastown. Doors open at 630, so feel free to come early and chat before the panel.
