Housing and Support Services Conference 2025

Thank you for your interest in attending the 16th annual Housing and Support Services Conference. Positive Steps Consulting has a long and exceptional history of event planning and delivering high quality and cost-effective professional development opportunities to health and human services providers across the United States. Together, with Partners in Community Development (PICD), and Supportive Housing Network of New York (SHNNY), we are excited to collaborate once again this year to host this annual event in Niagara Falls, NY.

The conference will be held November 5-6, 2025. This year’s theme is, “Supportive and Affordable Housing: Creating Pathways for Upward Mobility”. All individuals and families need stable housing to survive and thrive. Housing provides a foundation, however, going beyond the basics of a “roof” to ensure individuals and families have access to affordable, safe, and quality housing and services is key for self-sufficiency and upward mobility.

Conference Goals and Objectives:

• Present strategies for increasing and advancing the Development of Affordable Supportive Housing models

• Improve organizational capacity to effectively operationalize funding models
• Improve opportunities to advance Safety and Wellness across supportive housing and residential programs

• Promote emerging practices for organizational and programmatic changes to address structural and systemic and disparities within housing and residential services

• Promote person centered, trauma informed and culturally responsive engagement strategies

• Promote employment, economic upward mobility and self-sufficiency within residentials, supportive and affordable housing programs

• Offer supervision and leadership workshops for new and experienced leaders to further advance supervisory and leadership skills
