To kick off the new year, we’re devoting an entire month to celebrating houseplants. All through January, we’ve planned an exciting schedule of events and activities in the Greenhouse.Potting Station
If you find a new plant you’d like to purchase, use our potting tables and fresh soil to transplant it into a new pot – or a pot you’ve brought from home. It’s a great way to expand your indoor plant collection without needing to bring home an entire bag of soil.
Plant of the Week
To celebrate some of our favorite houseplants, we’re pulling a new member of our collection into the spotlight each week in January. You’ll find our plant of the week in a special display in the Greenhouse – and we’ll announce each one by email with more information on our blog about their care and why we love them.
Bottle Garden Terarrium Workshop
We’re teaming up with House + Plant for a hands-on Bottle Garden Terrarium workshop during Houseplant Month. Join us on January 17 from 9–10a in the greenhouse to learn how to build a beautiful, low-maintenance bottle garden to take home. Space is limited, so plan ahead.
Rare Houseplant Drop
We’re bringing in an unbelievable collection of houseplants that we’ve had our eye on for a long time for our Rare Houseplant Drop on January 24th. The event starts at 11a – but be sure to get in line early for your first chance to shop these rare gems.
Houseplant Swap
We invite you to join us on January 31st, from 10a-12p, for our Houseplant Swap. It’s an afternoon for bringing in your extra plants to share and finding new ones for your collection.
