Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful (KPSLB) makes it easy for City of Port St. Lucie and St. Lucie County residents (IDs required) to get rid of unwanted household chemicals and hazardous waste.Residents don't even need to leave their cars! Simply drive up to the drop-off location, and volunteers will help unload any items for disposal, free of charge.
The event is 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 1 at the Public Works facility, 450 SW Thornhill Drive.
Residents can also dispose hazardous waste year-round at St. Lucie County's Solid Waste, Baling and Recycling Facility. (Find information here: https://www.stlucieco.gov/departments-and-services/solid-waste/household-hazardous-waste)
